Founded in 1997 by BAFTA-and Sundance-nominated director-producer Tina Gharavi, Bridge + Tunnel is an international production company with one mission: to bring the world's unheard voices to the global stage: no compromises, no apologies, no shortage of ambition.

Working across Newcastle and Paris, the company sits at the intersection of cinematic excellence and social urgency. Its films don't just reflect the world: they challenge it. Identity. Migration. Power. Belonging. Not themes. Convictions.

The track record speaks for itself: a BAFTA and Sundance nomination, broadcasts on Channel 4, ITV and the Sundance Channel, and credits ranging from the intimate to the epic : 2026 will see the release of Virginia Woolf’s Night & Day (with Haley Bennett, Lily Allen, Jack Whitehall, Tim Spall and Jennifer Saunders), which sits in the back catalogue with Closer (a Sundance standout) and Mother/Country (Channel 4).

So what’s next? One of independent cinema's most anticipated productions: Forough: Let Us Believe in the Beginning of the Cold Season, executive produced by Wes Anderson.
