Based in Newcastle and Paris, the organisation operates at the intersection of cinematic excellence and social activism, producing work defined by an uncompromising creative vision and deep cultural sensitivity.

The company was founded in 1997 by BAFTA and Sundance-nominated director and producer Tina Gharavi, whose legacy of award-winning films has been broadcast on major platforms including Channel 4, ITV, and the Sundance Channel.
