Gharavi, founder of Bridge + Tunnel, was educated in the US and France.
She is currently a Lecturer in English (Digital Media) at the
University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. In her spare time, Tina dreams of
becoming a beekeeper. |

Elaine
Drainville
Associate
Producer
Elaine has
worked in the broadcast Film and TV industry for over 25
years, as a sound recordist, editor, producer and director.She now
lectures in TV, video and new media production at the University of
Sunderland. In her down time Elaine has a passion for building large
ceramic pots and mixing music.

Kaja Amundsen
Producer
Kaja is the newest addition to the Bridge + Tunnel team.
After graduating with a BA hons from Sunderland University in 2005, she
has since worked as a Production Manager and Agency Producer, both here
in Newcastle.
In her spare time she pines for the Norwegian Woods.

Caroline Smith
Caroline is an arts
consultant based in Newcastle, having recently relocated from London
where she was Adminstrative Director at Film and Video Umbrella. This
role involved working with a variety of artists and galleries, and
included managing the development-phase of a feature film by Turner
Prize winner Gillian Wearing.
Alongside her strategic development work for Bridge and Tunnel
Productions, Caroline's current work includes managing the Cultural
Programme for the Great North Run (maternity cover), consultancy for
the Tyneside Cinema and fundraising work for visual artists. In her
spare time Caroline trapezes and makes jame, but not at the same time.

Lalon Amin
Community Media Manager
Lalon has been involved in
the media industry for the past five years. He has produced a feature
film and four documentaries. Lalon specialises in highlighting social
based issues. In his spare time he enjoys script writing.

Paul Dingwall
Technical
Manager
Paul graduated from Sunderland University in 2008 and currently works
at Bridge + Tunnel Productions as Technical Manager. In his spare time he enjoys writing and performing music. |

Steve Bowden
Producer
Steve has worked as a Researcher, Production Manager, Assistant
Producer and Producer since graduating with honours from the North East
Media Training Centre in 1992.
In 1998, he line-produced his first feature film, Nasty Neighbours and
has subsequently produced two further feature films. School for
Seduction and Prima Primavera in addition to several award winning
short films.
Steve is a graduate of EAVE (the European Audio Visual Entrepreneurs
programme), Strategics Film Finance Forum and Strategics Film Marketing
Workshops. He has lectured on film development and production
throughout the UK and Europe, is a member of the European Producers
Club and is a Senior Tutor at the Media Business School.

shoots. He also leads photography workshops, and freelances for a local

who has worked in the film industry for over ten years and has
collaborated on many Bridge + Tunnel productions.

Karl Liegis

Manager
Karl
Liegis is a
freelance Assistant Director and Production Manager.
Karl has worked all over the world on commercials, pop promos, feature
films, shorts and television series. After a successful relationship
with Bridge + Tunnel on their award winning short film Perfect to
Begin, Karl is now involved part-time in the development of their
feature film Ali in Wonderland.

Craig Wilson

Craig
Wilson is an experienced film producer, arts and media manager.
He has worked in the arts for over twenty years, in the UK, the Middle
East, the West Indies and Australia. He has worked in the
north east for two years on commercial and community media projects,
and more recently worked at the Cricket World Cup as Media Services
Manager in Jamaica. |
