i-Kooch in Schools is a new educational project by Nomad Cultural Forum. This project aims to empower Kooch members to freely express their unheard narratives and encourage a positive dialogue with the local host community-in this case with young people. Nomad is currently developing partnerships with secondary schools in Northumberland to host an unique series of workshops designed by members of Kooch. The workshops will offer young people an opportunity to explore and understand the complexity of refugee and asylum stories through direct contact with individuals who have experienced social, cultural and geographical displacement.

An i-Kooch in Schools educational pack will be produced in association with this project during Spring 2008.
