Maasai: A Nomadic Cultural Arts Exchange

In this unique project, photographer and hairdresser Wayne Noble and filmmaker Tina Gharavi, will collaborate by travelling to Kenya where they will document the self-adornment rituals of the Maasai. The resulting images and film will represent the interaction and intersection of cultural perspectives and practices from the West, the Middle East and Africa, reflecting on attitudes to beauty, the human body and contemporary art practice.
