A 'visual poem' reflecting on the impact of the Israeli 'security wall' as it encroaches upon Palestinian towns and villages of the West Bank. The effect the wall has on Palestinian life is pernicious, restricting movement, denying access to farmland and suppressing economic growth. Land annexed by the wall is confiscated by the Israeli government to continue the expansion of illegal settlements, creating new 'facts on the ground', in spite of judicial and international condemnation.
This work forms part of an ongoing project to document the 'ordinary, everyday' experiences of women and children living in and around the Al Aroub refugee camp.
